Why this neighborhood matters
Five years ago Kâğıthane was viewed strictly as a business district. Today, in residential, dining, and fitness terms, it's operating as an extension of Levent. The M2 metro (Seyrantepe and Levent stations) connects it directly to the rest of the city.
For residents — or for people working in Levent, Şişli, and Mecidiyeköy who need to visit Kâğıthane — what fitness options are here, and which one fits which type of user? We live and train here; this is our neighborhood rundown.

2. Chain gym options
The neighborhood has several major chains:
- MacFit Kâğıthane — general weights and cardio; most branches open 24 hours
- Mac Ayazağa — larger facility, group classes, pool
- B-Fit Kâğıthane — women-only branches; multiple locations
- Fit Line, Mars Athletic — small-to-mid chains in and around the neighborhood
Best for: self-directed programming, general fitness, flexible-hours priority.
For the boutique-vs-chain trade-off, read our comparison here.
3. Yoga studios
Kâğıthane has 2–3 boutique yoga studios; class sizes are small, hours limited, mostly evenings and weekends.
Yoga at GBC: Tuesday and Thursday 20:00–21:00. It's not included in the kickboxing + dance monthly bundle — yoga has its own pass (4 classes / month ₺2,500, 8 classes ₺3,400).
4. Pool + spa
- Ağaoğlu MyWorld Europe Health Club — premium option with pool + spa included
- 5-star hotel pools (Wyndham, Hilton, Mövenpick, etc.) sell individual memberships
5. Outdoor sport (budget: zero)
- Kâğıthane Kent Ormanı — running and cycling paths, morning walks
- Sadabad Park — outdoor fitness equipment, walking track
- Hasdal Forest — longer running routes
You need only appropriate clothing.
