A Boxing and Kickboxing Gym in Seyrantepe

A boxing gym in Seyrantepe, Istanbul — kickboxing, Bo Staff, hip-hop, highheels, yoga and CrossFit under one roof. Three minutes from the M2 Seyrantepe metro, in the heart of Kâğıthane. Expert coaches in every discipline, a program built for every level. Start with the ₺500 trial class.

Why kickboxing?

Kickboxing pairs boxing hands with karate and Muay Thai kicks — unlike boxing, the whole body is in it. And let's settle a common misconception up front: kickboxing does not mean getting hit. In our program the first three months involve no contact at all.

  • Cardio that isn't boring

An hour on a treadmill and an hour on the pads are not comparable. The time passes because you're learning, not counting.

  • Body coordination

Stance, hip rotation, balance on one leg. These are skills that stay with you outside the gym.

  • Somewhere to put the pressure

After a working day, five rounds on the bag does what no meditation app manages.

  • A base in self-defence

Especially if you're living alone in a new city, that alone is a serious gain.

Reviews From You

I'll never forget the warmth I felt the day I first walked in to try boxing. The coaches teach discipline alongside technique — three months later I felt ready to step into the ring with real confidence.

Six things to check before joining a boxing gym in Istanbul

Istanbul has no shortage of options. What's scarce is the right one. These are the criteria we hold ourselves to as well.

  1. Class size

Chain gyms run classes of 30 because that's the business model. In a class of 30 the coach won't learn your name, let alone the flaw in your guard.

  2. One coach, or a rotation?

Some places give you a different coach every session. For kickboxing that's fatal — nobody is tracking your progress.

  3. Real access, not map access

In Istanbul, 20 minutes on a map is 50 minutes in traffic. A gym you can't reach by 19:00 is not, in practice, your gym.

  4. Do they offer a trial class?

A place that won't let you try a single session before selling you an annual pass probably has something to hide.

  5. How long is the contract?

Six-month and annual packages look cheaper, but they put the entire risk on you. A monthly pass means you choose again every month.

  6. The room's gender mix

If you're a woman and wary of an all-male class, ask this outright. It isn't an awkward question.

Your first class, minute by minute

Beforehand you message us on WhatsApp and we hold a place in the trial class. Bring comfortable clothes; the studio provides gloves and wraps.

  1. 15 min

    Warm-up

Rope and joint work, easy pace. Nobody expects you to arrive in shape.

  2. 30 min

    Technique

Jab and cross. That's it. Day one isn't about learning five punches — it's about throwing one properly.

  3. 30 min

    Pad work

With a partner. Your partner only holds the pads; nobody hits you.

  4. 15 min

    Conditioning and cool-down

Closing the session. Tomorrow morning your arms and abs will ache and you'll wonder why — it's the pad work.

The first week is uncertain, the second session you settle in, and by the third week you're usually looking forward to class day.

Kickboxing for women: if you're hesitating

There are four questions we get on WhatsApp almost every week. The short answers:

"Is the class mostly men?"
No. Roughly half and half, and in some sessions women are the majority.
"Will I get hit?"
No. Zero contact for the first three months. Sparring is entirely optional.
"I'm not strong enough."
Power comes from the hips, not the arms. Most of our women members had never trained before.
"I'm too old."
Our oldest active kickboxing member is 54 and has been coming for eight months.
